Heli-skiing
Heli-skiing is off-trail, downhill skiing reached by helicopter, instead of a ski lift.
For many first-timers the word itself evokes images of extreme athletes leaping out of helicopters on to near-vertical slopes. It’s not like that! Think of a helicopter as the cable car of your dreams – safe and comfortable yet capable of reaching peaks far beyond the resort crowds in search of untracked snow.
Thanks to its successful development, heli-skiing is becoming increasingly popular among skiers and snowboarders, from experienced free-riders to off-piste first-timers.
Contrary to many people’s perceptions, most trips that we organise are not extreme at all. They are more similar to the gradient skiing you would find on a red slope in a resort. The main difference is that you will enjoy run after run of fresh powder snow.
We organise day trips in Switzerland with private helicopters and in small groups. Heli-skiing with Pinnacle Ski you will always enjoy amazing fresh powder and the most incredible views over Verbier and the Matterhorn.
